In stark contrast to yesterday’s epic Chilul Hashem, a group of Bochurim who were stuck in an 8-mile-long traffic jam on Interstate 80 near Pittsburgh, on their way to do Mivtzoim and hand out Chanukah candles, 5 Lubavitch bochurim broke into a dance and spread some holiday cheer.

Video: Bochurim Dance, Do Mivtzoim While Stuck in Traffic

In stark contrast to yesterday’s epic Chilul Hashem, a group of Bochurim who were stuck in an 8-mile-long traffic jam on Interstate 80 near Pittsburgh, on their way to do Mivtzoim and hand out Chanukah candles, 5 Lubavitch bochurim broke into a dance and spread some holiday cheer.

The weather reporter who captured the scene said that she had never seen such a thing in her 20 years in broadcasting.

The video made even bigger rounds when it was featured on AOLnews’s homepage!

    They were the MENORAHS.

The Menorah is just a toil/symbol to spread light.
What they did was spread light with out the symbol, they just did it with their own bodies and soul.

    Big Kiddush Hashem.

Forget the Music guys, maybe they didnt have chabad music cause it wasnt their car or something, what counts is that they had simcha right then, cameras or no cameras. What do guys did was beyond….but why didnt you get and of the other drivers to dance with you? ;)

to #5 – a) who says these are Lubavitch Bochurim? Do you recognize any of them? They could be any frum yidden. Are you saying they are Chabad just because their tzitzis it out?

    b) who says we can not find simcha in Breslov music???

Maybe you think it’s a chillul lubavitch, but it’s clearly a kiddush hashem. :)

  • Actually

Actually I heard from an insider that they were in desperate need of a restroom.

  • the guy on top of the car!

    he looks the most charismatic.
    whats his name?
    where did he learn?

  • happy chanukah!

love it!! its a shame that the woman reported turning up the RADIO to dance along with! but keep up the happy chanukah spirit!

  • And it must have been cold!!!

    Awesome kiddush Hashem. Period.

Stop wondering about why they didn’t do it this way or that way. What they did was great.

  • it-s not Breslov music

It’s ok that she said Radio, hate to break it to you all but that was not Breslover music. Just because someone took a famous secular song and sang Rabbi Nachman to it’s tune doesn’t make it Breslover music. I’m sure the real breslover chassidim would be appalled to hear you calling it that.

You sound so naive. Firstly, you can spot these guys as Lubavitcher bochurim from a mile away. Secondly, people here know them and have identified them as Lubavitcher bochurim. Stop being vindictive and realize what is obvious to everyone else here.
