Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to be Libyan President’s Neighbor

MYFOXNY.COM — If Libyan President Muammar Qaddafi visits the United States next month, there is a good chance he’ll be staying in a tent next door to celebrity Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

Good Day NY’s Greg Kelly spoke with the enraged Rabbi who says he’ll do everything possible to stop the “terrorist” from pitching a tent next to his home.

Repair work is underway on the house owned by the Libyan mission in advance of Qadaffi’s visit. If the house is not ready in time, Qadaffi is considering staying in the Bedouin tent he travels with.

Rabbi Shmuley- who lives directly next door to the Libyan-owned house- says his trees and fence have been torn down without his consent.

The Libyan government is spending millions of dollars on the house they have abandoned for more than a decade. “It’s an eyesore,” says Rabbi Shmuley.

He adds that the Englewood community will do everything it can to prevent the “supporter of terrorism” from moving in.

“Things have changed,” says Rabbi Shmuley. “I was willing to extend an olive branch” to the Libyan leader, but not after he gave a convicted terrorist a hero’s welcome.

Qadaffi sent his private plane to return the Pan Am bomber to Libya after he was released last week from a Scottish prison on “compassionate grounds.”

    I’ve heard Qadaffi is a Jew (bioligical father is a Muslim, biological mother is Jewish) and that his Jewish mother lives in an undisclosed location in Israel. Does anyone know if there is anything to this? If so, Rabbi Boteach should put on tefillin with him when he comes over.

    If the government previously had an open-door policy re: Libya they would protect Libyan President Muammar Qaddafi and continue the policy because the American govt. sees something good there politically/economically for themselves. They’re not going to let the blood of a couple of hundred murdered Americans stand in their way.
    Why, look at the FBI director’s anger at the freeing of the Arab terrorist involved with the Lockerbee tragedy. He’s so upset! So, if he, and his govt. are such fine and moral people why don’t they free Jonathan Pollard!? Mr. Pollard was lied to by Kasper Weinberg (A Jew! Hard to believe? Study the case).
    Simply, because he’s busy pointing fingers at others while everyone else is doing the same thing. Easier that way you know.
    Don’t forget this country is full of good Xristians who love one another and justice very much.
