In front of hundreds of Rabbi's at this years annual West Coast Shluchim Convention, Mendy Pellin presented AskMosesTV. The announcement was at the banquet on Sunday night at the Chabad Running Spings resort. It was followed by a presentation sampling the expected content on the new project. The preview received a tremendous positive response by those present.

All this, a day before the ChabadTube launch of our 3rd Season of the Mendy Report.

The Launch of AskMosesTV!

    it’s beautifull to speak about the tv right after the Rebbe!!! (not that we shouldn’t use tv for holy purposes, however it wasn’t the right place in the video).

    That does it. With Mendy Pellin representing AskMoses, I will NOT be recommending the site to anyone.

    I think all AskMoses scholars should protest by refusing to participate in the site until Mendy is removed.

    What’s next, are we gonna have underwear jokes on AskMoses?

    Mark my words: Mendy will go the same way as Matisyahu and Shmuley Boteach.

    Notice that he doesent say the last part of the words, i heard that the Rebbe dident encourege them, because its better to focas on the positve!

    Just wondering what makes you more of a Chossid than him. The way you put him down – you don’t seem like any sort of Chossid.

    I personnally think he would do a great job at this and on the contrary something of this sort, will probably keep him as a staunch Chossid of the Rebbe.

    Though I must agree with you, I don’t understand how he is answering peoples questions on askmoses. If anything you should complain about that – as he doesnt seem like much of a lamdon and definitly not a posek.

    Just to clarify: I personally happened to have liked the video.

    I just don’t think Mendy is a good role model (I can’t forget the catwalk, or the underwear joke), and I’m afraid about the direction we’re heading in, in which anything goes, and anyone is a “Rabbi or Shliach.”

    The Rebbe would not have approved of these things.

    ok,, Mister Nutz dein Seichel,, Did u seem to look in the mirror today.. The frierdiker Rebbe says that when u see a chisoron in another person,, u need to look deep within urself to find and eradicate that chisoron. OBVIOUSLY, YOU did not nutz dein seichel before commenting on this blog.
    As a true Chosid of our Rebbe, I know that this is just another way to meet a yid with his pintele neshoma.. I cant think of anything that would make the Rebbe more proud.
    Again, I recommend that YOU nutz dein seichel.

    To the rest of you who work so hard, on Ask Moses, and all the other wonderful Hafotzo inyonim, I wish for you much koach to continue, ad bias goel.

    If you would have even bothered to look into whats going on over here you would realize that what you are saying has no merit. Chabadtube was freestyle, he did what he wanted to attract viewers. Some of his methods may be debateable, agreed, but this is entirely different.
    He is working for the askmoses family now and you can bet the themes of the show is going to be very different than what you have seen on Chabadtube.
    But you probably know this already…

    In response to comment “Mendel CH” mentioned earlier on, that by the rebbe they didn’t sing the part “af al pi…”, on “nigunei hisvaados” they sing ‘ani maamin’ part if “v’af al pi…” and one can hear singing/humming (more in an under tone) along.
