Soldier Blinded in Gaza Kindles Menorah

The soldier blinded early on in the recent operation ‘Pillar of Defense’ in Gaza, along with a wounded victim from the terror attack in Bulgaria and assisted by the soldier who thwarted a terrorist attack on Chanukah seven years ago kindled the third candle of Chanukah together with Rabbi Menachem Kutner of Chabad’s Terror Victims Project.

The event was held in the rehabilitation department at Tel Hashomer Hospital. Participants could not contain their tears witnessing the bravery of the wounded victims, who despite very serious injuries were there to kindle the lights and give the message of “Light will Win” and Am Yisroel Chai.

It is not the Arabs Yemach Shmam who are entirely to blame. Successive governments of the state of Israel, a mismanaged entity that endangers Jews within as well as outside its borders, never dealt with the terror problem properly. They did not make peace, which is probably impossible, but they also never fought decisively or acted decisively on the world political arena.

Therefore, the shlimazel state continues to waste the lives of its soldiers, who are just kids that are trained to value enemy lives more than their own, and it cannot protect its citizens against terror. Worst of all, it causes problems like the present situation in Copenhagen where innocent Jews with little or no connection to the state are endangered.
