Thousands of Jewish Children March in Argentina

On Lag Ba’omer, thousands of Jewish children marched through Buenos Aires to Abasto, the biggest shopping mall in Argentina.

The children marched with pride from the Chabad Shul on Bolougne Sur Mer through the Jewish Neigborhood of Once, as onlookers emotionally watched and lauded the Jewish pride.

15 Jewish Schools (both Frum and not-Frum) Participated, with 2,500 participants in total.

The event started with a grand Kinus, emceed by Rabbi Shloimy Taubenfliegel, with Music, 12 Psukim recited by representatives of the schools, a Show by the Bachurim of the Yeshiva and inspiring addressed by the head Shliach Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt and special guest Rabbi Leibl Groner.

The Children then split to four groups and rotated between Neverland (an indoor Amusement park), the children’s museum, a Jewish movie on a mega-screen in the Hoyt’s theatre and a gourmet lunch.

The event was a major success and an unbelievable demonstration of Achdus.

Special thanks to the Bachurim and Shluchim of the yeshiva and Mesivta, the Girls of the Chabad High School and the Yungeleit of the Kollel for their dedication.
