Packages Aid Needy Families on Outskirts of Jerusalem

In anticipation of Passover, the Chabad center of Castel-Mevaseret Tzion, a suburb of Jerusalem, distributed thousands of food packages to needy families in the area.

Preparations began two months before the holiday, and the entire logistical operation was directed by the head of activities at the center, HaTomim Menachem Mendel Rabinowitz, son of Shliach to the city Rabbi Yitzchok Rabinowitz.

Over 50 Yeshiva Bochurim arrived at the packaging facility to assist with the operation, where they packed thousands of essential items needed for Yomtov in cardboard cartons.

The food packages were donated by a local member of Anash who wishes to remain anonymous.
