many non-religious girls take “bat mitzvah lessons” usually it’s just basics on what it means to be a jew. why? well they know they are about to have a special ceremony, celebrating that they are bat mitvah but they have no clue about the background or meaning. this is a shluchahs chance to connect with these girls and light their neshomah up.
