Rabbi Mendy and Sarah Rimler

Chabad at ASU Welcomes New Shluchim

Chabad at Arizona State University welcomed Rabbi Mendy and Sarah Rimler, and their daughter, Chayale. The couple joins the organization’s founding directors, Rabbi Shmuel and Chana Tiechtel.

Rabbi Mendy Rimler, 24, is from Melbourne, Australia, and spent a semester at Chabad at ASU in 2012.

Sarah Rimler, 23, grew up in Ann Arbor, Mich. She grew up in a secular Jewish home and encountered Chabad at the University of Michigan at age 12; her mother works at the school. She says she is “excited to be able to pay it forward to other Jewish students who may not have had the opportunity to connect with Jewish life at a younger age.”

According to Rabbi Tiechtel, “the new shluchim are crucial in our goal to reach many more of the 4,000 Jewish students at ASU.”
