Resort City’s Gorgeous New Mikva Finally Gets Rain
Although construction of the new Mikvah in the resort city of Playa Del Carmen in Mexico was completed months ago, a severe drought prevent it from opening. That changed this past week, with nonstop rain that filled the entire Mikvah!
After a few months of the completed construction of the Mikvah in the resort city of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Shliach Rabbi Mendel Goldberg and his community have been waiting for over 2 months for rain to fill it up.
Despite begin ready for Pesach, the lack of rain prevent the opening of the new Mikvah.
Last week, following a period of humid weather, the skies literally opened up and in less than 4 hours the Mikva was not only full to be kosher but the whole Mikvah, but it also overflowed.
The Mikvah was designed by an architect who has built some of the most luxurious spas in resorts around the world, and this Mikva is on par with them all. Following the Rebbe clear directive and encouragement to do everything beautiful, especially when it comes to a Mikvah.
At the last women’s class, Shlucha Chaya Goldberg introduced the Mikvah idea and ladies where thrilled about this new “spa”, It generated a true interest.

Beautiful Mikvah, wonderful design and modern.
I would ask a Rov about filling the Mikvah so high, it may be problematic, because if the water overflows during Tevilah, it can render the Tevilah invalid, and can potentially disqualify the Kashrus of the water…
If I am wrong please comment here and tell me so. Thanks.
wrong
if you look in siman 143 in the big shulchan aruch it shows that is kosher
Double worng
Before tryin to posel you should ask a rov

There would only be a problem if the mikveh had an exact shiur of 40 se’im. But nobody today builds mikvaos like that. Every modern mikveh (and by “modern” I mean at least the last 500 years) is much bigger than the minimum shiur, so what problem could overflowing possibly cause?
