Picture of the Day

Lubavitcher Yossi Farro posted this picture and explained that he got this text from a Jew named Fabrice.

“Hi Yossi, I was on that plane that crashed this morning at LaGuardia. I need an emergency tefillin wrap.”

Baruch Hashem, he was safe. And his first instinct? To thank Hashem.

I had just been introduced to him this past Wednesday by one of his clients. We’d been going back and forth trying to find a time to wrap together—until that message came in.

The second I saw it, I knew this couldn’t wait. Even though I was out of town, I made a call to my friend Mendel in Midtown Manhattan.

Within the hour, Fabrice was wrapped.
