As part of the Bais Rivkah Float R. Shimshon Stock OB"M would bring a goat and keep it around for the enjoyment of those that participated, the parade would then conclude at the park on Maple St between Troy and Schenectady and everyone was treated to a variety of attractions, among those was the goat who would stick around with Shimshon and entertain the children.

There were a couple of boys in the yeshiva on Dean st without beards, it was not a strictly, Lubavitch only yeshiva at the time.Shimshon looks like he is about fify at the time, so it must be about thirty years ago

If no one knows what year it is, how can we say who the kid in the photo is!
Personally, i dont think the kid is Ari H. OB”M. He was not born in the sixties only the late 70’s/ he could not have been that age at this time in the picture!!

Come on. Doesn’t ANYONE here know how to date the picture? You just figure out how old the goat was at the time and go from there……………….

FYI.The parade was in 1975. He grew a beard in 1976. He moved to CH approx in 1967.
