A reader sent us this photo taken this morning near the Mobile gas station on Empire Blvd. Well over a week since the brunt of Hurricane Sandy hit the Tri-State area, the gasoline shortage continues and long lines still form at Southern Crown Heights' only gas station.

    Go To NJ Right over the Goethals bridge no lines and most gas stations are not bothering to check odd or even plates

    To #2 too expensive to go through the verrizano.. go through the holland tunnel between 10:00 and 12:00 no traffic and no lines. Plenty if gas at 3:50 – 3.70 a gallon. Round trip = 1 1/2 hours. And only one toll to pay. Dont know about alternate plates, but today is odd.

    There is a Hess a few blocks away, on Utica and Rutledge. It has EIGHT pumps. Double as big as this one.
