Never heard of this couple. How about we name streets after shimshon stock. Or will politicians start naming streets after their parents.

Aguda is there why? Friedlander why? Yeger? He doesn’t go to events in his district, because his wife now works for Dr blasio

“The Crown Heights community lost a visionary educator and advocate for the less fortunate. Mrs. Sarah Behrman, a long time resident of the community….Sarah’s passions remained in helping those less fortunate. Starting in 1994, Sarah began working for HASC, the Jewish educational and clinical social service agency for people with special needs. Touching the lives of hundreds, she lobbied local lawmakers to redefine the way people with disabilities are viewed. Sarah believed that a person is a much larger than his or her disability. By focusing on her clients’ abilities rather than their impairments, she empowered them to make their own decisions, take control over their lives, greatly enhancing their quality of life.” ( Crownheights.info , July 15, 2013) http://crownheights.info/notices/393640/this-wednesday-shloshim-in-memory-of-mrs-sarah-behrman/ , See also http://crownheights.info/notices/600139/boruch-dayan-hoemes-r-michoel-behrman-78-obm/

#3, so sorry you never heard of these wonderful people. The BT community has alot of people who are making great contributions, so maybe we need to recognize that we are not as integrated as we could/should be.
The Chabad websites have a few articles about them, they are noteable.
