Melbourne’s Young-Yeshivah Community Holds SBH

This Sukkos, close to 100 young men and women from Melbourne’s Young-Yeshivah community gathered for a Simchas Beis Hashoevah BBQ Bash Party. Young-Yeshivah is a vibrant satellite community of Melbourne’s Yeshivah Centre, and caters for singles, couples and families ranging from the not-yet-twenties through the past-thirties.

The event was an incredible evening of great energy with delicious food, beautiful ambiance and great guests.

Opening remarks and thanks were delivered by Young Yeshivah president, Avraham Adelist. He was followed by Menachem Bacher, who shared insights on Sukkos and the role it plays as the “Festival of in-gathering”. As the night wore on, the men broke out into spontaneous dance in the Sukkah, even as the weather turned wet, whilst the women danced indoors.

Young-Yeshivah thanks its committee members for all their hard work and dedication, as well as the event subcommittee who invested so much time and energy into making the event a smashing success: Chana Adelist, Devorah Adelist, Miri Loebenstein, Devora Raskin and Chaya Sziewicz.
