OK Treats Employees’ Children to Chanukah Party
Yesterday, the 5th Day of Chanukah, over 65 children of OK employees were treated to a Chanukah party at OK Headquarters.
The morning kicked off with pottery painting with Shaina Wolff of Parttery (917-648-9721). Each child painted a star or flower shaped cereal bowl which will be fired and sent home to enjoy.
Another exciting feature at the event was face painting by Pnina Hanoka of Face Art by Pnina. The children eagerly awaited their turn for a masterpiece painted by Pnina – from pirates, to princesses to Macabees. Each child was delighted with their transformation! As one little boy said, “It’s not a party without Pnina!”
The morning continued with Chanukah arts and crafts and a delicious pizza lunch from Pomodori, followed by everyone’s favorite – doughnuts from Marketplace!
At the end of the party, each child was given a special custom made tee-shirt, declaring: “I’ve got the Kosher Spirit!” and Chanukah Gelt from Rabbi Don Yoel Levy. The children and their parents loved the party and the gifts, and thanked the OK for making such a special party during Chanukah vacation.
