‘Mount Middos Project’ Rewards Students with Ski Trip
United Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway took the Talmidim on a grand skiing trip as part of a reward for participating in a Mivtza called “Mount Middos Project”.
The Talmidim who earned the trip all made Hachlotos (resolutions) in regards of bettering oneself, with their Mashpi’im. (mentors) They learned Sichos and Mamorim of the Rebbe Baal-Peh – totaling hundreds of hours of learning after school and during breaks.
The trip began with the Bochurim getting picked up by an elegant mini bus thank you Mr. Chaim Yavitch – and headed to the Delaware Water Gap for breakfast and a hike along the Appalachian trail. Then they headed to the slopes. After Arriving at Sno Mountain the students received instruction on skiing safety and ski logic. Once observed in being proficient on the training hills they were then oked to try some of the longer and more challenging runs on the mountain.
Everyone had a great time, one student exclaimed: “This is the best trip I’ve ever been on, Thank you Rabbi”
