In honor of the completion of the 31st cycle of Rambam, the Yeshivah Gedolah of Melbourne recently celebrated with a Siyum HaRambam.
The evening was chaired by Shliach Shmuel Slonim and the event opened with the Rebbe’s Kappitel led by Eli Duban, and Dvar Malchus presented by Shliach Yisroel Leib Lester. The actual Siyum was delivered by Rabbi Schneier, who elaborated on the last Halachos of the Rambam. Immediately after, Yosef Lipskier began the 32nd cycle of the Rambam. Other speakers included Rabbi Broh and Rabbi Lesches, about the importance of learning Rambam. Shliach Moshe Lerman outlined the details of the next stage of YG’s very successful Mivtza Rambam program.
The event concluded with Benching, led by the Rosh Yeshivah, Rabbi Cohen, followed by a video presentation regarding the relevance and importance of learning Rambam.
Special thanks to Shliach Mendel Hertz and the rest of the Shluchim for coordinating the event, as well as Mr Procel and Mr Joseph.
