
Congestion Pricing Tolls Remain Despite Federal Government’s Deadline
The federal government’s new deadline to end congestion pricing has passed, but the Manhattan tolls remain on.
Toll cameras remained in effect Monday morning, charging drivers with E-ZPasses up to $9 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street. For a second time, Governor Kathy Hochul and the MTA resisted a White House demand to cut off congestion pricing by April 20.
In a statement to PIX11 News, a spokesperson for Hochul said the tolls will remain on.
