A tribute from her friends from Brazil and Uruguay
Today at Beit Chabad of Curitiba – Brazil, Rabbi Mendel Labkowski taught the class “The significance of the death of a Tzadik” based on knowledge of the book of Tanya. As requested by the friends of Etta Devora Morozow, the class was dedicated to her.
Etta Devora Morozow had many qualities, but most was chesed. When we had the opportunity to stay in the basement of her house, witnessed dozens of times that she delivered food to Bikur Cholim, donated clothes and furniture for the poor. Always gave advice and help to people. As she was raised as Latin, because she was born in Uruguay, always had a bowl of soup or warm food for serving. Her friends from Brazil and Uruguay will feel sorely missed.

She was a very close friend of mine who I will truly miss. My heart goes out to her family. I know Hashem just needed her to help lead us out of this challenging Golus. Mrs. Morozow I miss you already!

Dear Rabbi and Chana Gurkow,
I was saddened by the news of the passing of your lovely Mother. I remember her teaching us in a cooking class at the Chabbad in Stoughton. How patient and kind she was to all of us.
May Hashem comfort you and your family as only He can.
