Boruch Dayan Hoemes: R. Yisroel Tzvi Blau, 59, OBM
With sadness we inform you of the tragic passing of Rabbi Yisroel Tzvi (Fishke) Blau, OBM, a veteran member of the Lubavitch community in Tzfas, Israel. He was 59 years old.
Rabbi Blau’s passing follows a stroke he suffered about four months ago, from which he never awoke.
He is survived by his wife (from the Dubov family in New York), children and grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place today in Jerusalem, where he will be buried. The family will be sitting Shiva in Tzfas.
