Weekly Letter: Critical Role of the Jewish Daughter, as the Akeres Habayis

In connection with the theme in our parsha – Yaakov going out (Vayeitze) on his mission to get married and establish a family and a Jewish home – we share a letter where the Rebbe emphasizes the critical role of the Jewish daughter, as the akeres habayis, the foundation of the home. In his letter to a father, the Rebbe suggests that the only way for his daughter to find true fulfillment in life is for her to attend a school that will prepare her for the role most suitable for her, a Jewish daughter, which will ultimately give her true fulfillment and pride.
