Kinus Registration Begins and Speakers Announced

Taking place in less then a month, the annual Kinus Hashluchim Haolami – the four-day-event event which sees thousands of Rabbis from around the world converge on Crown Heights, is set to begin. The Kinus committee has announced the speakers for the gala banquet which concludes the monumental event.

Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, the head of the Vaad HaKinus sent out the following email:

On behalf of the Vaad HaKinus, I’m pleased to announce the names of those selected to deliver the keynote addresses during the upcoming Kinus Hashluchim:

Rabbi Ari Shishler, Director of Chabad of Strathavon, South Africa, will represent his fellow Shluchim and deliver the keynote address at the Kinus Hashluchim Gala Banquet this year.

Rabbi Shishler, along with his wife Naomi, founded the Chabad Center in Strathavon — a neighborhood of Johannesburg — in 1999. Their center has since grown exponentially, bringing the light of Torah and Chassidus to many thousands in Srathavon and beyond.

Mr. Steven Solarsh a prominent entrepreneur and founding member and supporter of Chabad of Strathavon, South Africa will join Rabbi Shishler in addressing the banquet.

Chief Rabbi Yisroel Meir Lau will be guest speaker at the banquet. Rabbi Lau will share inspirational moments of his longtime and special relationship with the Rebbe during his decades-long service in the Israeli Rabbinate.

The sessions and workshops are Boruch Hashem all in place as we go to press today with the Kinus Program.

Looking forward to a most successful ad inspiring Kinus Hashluchim 5773.

Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky

CrownHeights.info has learned that the banquet will be taking place, once again, in the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, which is located in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn.
