New Steinsaltz Talmud Unveiled at Retreat
Koren Publishers Jerusalem, an exhibitor at the National Jewish Retreat’s Resource Fair, created for the event a special booklet containing a selection from their new edition of the Steinsaltz Gemara. The first 12 pages of the Babylonian Talmud were specially printed and bound for the Retreat.
Koren representatives received an enthusiastic response from guests who clustered around their stand during the three days they exhibited.
The Koren Talmud Bavli fuses the innovative design for which Koren is known with the unsurpassed scholarship of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, also known as Rabbi Adin Even-Israel.
This edition of the Talmud is a full-size, full-color edition that presents an enhanced Vilna page, a side-by-side English translation, photographs and illustrations, commentary, and many learning aids to help both beginning and advanced students participate in the dynamic process of Talmud study. For participants at the National Jewish Retreat it was an ideal encouragement to continue on their path of Torah learning.
