  • We need to learn

We must learn to drive more carefully. Saving a minute can cost a life. Erev Shabbos, we are all rushing, but is it worth the price?

  • BDE!

BDE! to the family, Hamokom yenachem eschem botch sharia avolai tzion vyirushalayim! May you know no more tzar!

  • Driver's Ed a must!

BDE. I know, everything is by Hoshgacha Protis. But, being careless by relying on miracles is like playing Russian Roulette. Do that too many times, you’re likely to get the moment when the miracle you rely on will not be there, and, then, tragedy, Ch”V.
When I had driver’s ed in high school, in addition to the videos about basic driving instructions, they also showed footage of actual accidents and what the victims look like (blood, guts, everything), as a deterrant to careless driving. Same for pedestrians. “These ‘actors’ were not professional Hollywood stars, nor were they paid, THEY actually paid to be in these movies – with their lives…”
The most mussardic one was “Wheels of Tragedy” see:

Near the end, some young teenage kids got killed because they made a bad move in front of a trucker who was “asleep,” stricken with highway hypnosis. At the horrific scene in front of them, the junior highway patrol officer(learning his job) asked his instructor,”Why do things like this have to happen?” “That’s just the point, they don’t.” “What’s next?” “Now, we have to speak to the relatives.”

Next, you see them knocking on the door of a house. The senior trooper(instructor) says,”this is the part you hate. This is the worst,” because here they are telling the parents what happened to their kids.
