A Day in Camp Gan Izzy of Rockland County

A Mitzvos Carnival, Costume Day, Purim Week, Baking Haman Tashen, a Purim Play, Swimming and Karate! All this packed into a single day at Gan Izzy of Rockland County headed by R. Rabbi Avremel Kotlarsky of Chabad Lubavitch of Rockland.

This is the 18th year since the first summer that Chabad of Rockland ran its summer program with over 70 kids!

    I think it’s very amazing the work that the Kotlarsky’s do. As a Monsey resident and as a friend of one of their mekuravim I get to experiance first hand everthing that goes on. I wish them the best of brachos that they should go machayil el chayil and may it be in the zchus off all their avodah that will bring MOSHIACH NOW!!!

    hello there "were older were stronger weve been around for longer………." bunk seven is the best! we have the best counselor but we miss chanie shterna ,sarala, shaina and sarah. gan izzy is the best camp in the world. campers from bunk 7 say " were having a rockin time in camp GI……. "cause were all in this together"!!!!!!! btw happy birthday to chanie nachos! happy birthday from all of us to you, have a happy birthday from BUNK 7, achdus airforce! love your long lost bunk achdus airforce!

    beautiful pictures, but i do think that you should mention and give credit to the camp and campers who worked so hard on preparing this carnival – the staff and campers of machane emunah, who came all the way from camp, just to prepare this specail carnival for the children… tunz of work and preparation went into it, and no due credit was given on your website… thanx a lot

(but that just might be do to the fact that you don’t post picture of kids arguing and crying) no matter, you did a smashing job. good for you for sticking it out even when the going got rough. you kick jewish, well you know what i want to say.
