What a loss; This man gave out community
a good name when he was many years ago
    executive Director of the CHJCC

    May his family be comforted

He will be missed. i will miss that smiling face with the big cigar in his mouth. If only the poor excuses for politicians” community leaders, camera ,publicity hounds were anything like him We wouldn’t have all this garbage etc. that the community has today. They never really appreciated him!

Reb Izzy has worked selflessly for the schunah through very hard time with Mesiras Nefesh Mammesh. people may not realize it but he help save the East end of crown heights by living and working right there many times past midnite.
May he be a Gutter Better for the whole
    mishpocho.

I didn’t even know him personally, but he took the time to suggest shiduchim for me, treating me like someone he knew so well. He would never give up always calling with a new suggestion. I am sure he helped many people in our community! What a special man.

To Mrs Rosenfeld and the family:
I / we are really saddened to read and hear about the petirah of reb Yisroel.

I knew him from yeshiva days back in 1964/65 and over the years he has always been a generous friend and supporter of our work in Scotland. As for this communal work, well the pictures on his office walls speak for themselves!

My wife and I feel for the family at this time. May Hashem send you His nechoma and may you be able to continue to build your lives for many many years in good health. May we be zoche to the geula-techiyus Hamaysim and may Yisroel be among them very soon.

Hamokom Y’nachem eschem b’soch sh’arr avylay Zion Vi’yerusholyim, may you know of no further pain for many many years.

Izzy a’h was truly a Tzadic in our time, and I feel privaliged to have spoken to him on a few occasi0ns. He was always there for people at all hours of the day, he was always just a phone call away. He never turned anyone down.
    Rest in Peace

I worked for Rabbi Rosenfeld many years ago. I really enjoyed working in the CHJCC on Utica Ave. Rabbi Rosenfeld was a very invested, dedicated worker whose sole desire was to see a better future for Crown Heights.
    He will be missed!
