Suspicious Fire Prompts Marshal Investigation

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A fire broke out earlier this afternoon in an apartment on Brooklyn Avenue, the cause of which was deemed suspicious by firefighters who had the small blaze out in minutes.

The incident occurred on the top floor of 439 Brooklyn Avenue, which is on the corner of Empire Boulevard. The mixed use building, which houses a non-Kosher Chinese restaurant and kosher wine store, is comprised of six units, two of which are residential.

Firefighters responded to the call of a fire burning inside the top floor, which was apparently started after one of the residents attempted to ignite a bunch of papers. It was unclear whether the intentions were malicious and the fire therefore deemed suspicious.

There were no reported injuries in this incident.

When will the landlord Feldman/popack put Yiddin in that house? Why does every nationality come before your own, especially when the current tenants make such a mess with garbage and noise and crime

because it’s easier to kick them out if you have troublesome tenants. if it’s a yid you need a psak first!

I’ve heard there’s a hetter that you CAN kick a yid out in accordance with the laws of the land, without the need for a psak, because otherwise frum landlords might not want to rent to Jews.
