A fire destroyed two residential units in the Nahariah – Happy Acres bungalow colony in the Catskill Mountains. Severe damage was caused to the units.

At around 3:00pm Sunday a fast moving fire broke out in an empty bungalow in the Nahariah – Happy Acres bungalow colony which is located in South Fallsburg, New York.

Volunteer firefighters quickly responded to the blaze and doused the flames, but not before it causing significant damage to the structure – which houses two residential units.

Colony residents said that both units have been vacant since Thursday. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

I hope everyone takes a lesson from this and makes
sure to have a smoke detector, carbon dioxide detector
    and a fire extinguisher.

Was wondering if someone would come up with a pathetic genius comment.
They had everything that you mentioned. No one was home. The neighbors didn’t even realize what was going on until they heard people standing outside screaming.
Sometimes Hashem has other plans even though you think you have everything planned out…

yes i agree with number 6 i dont know what number four is thinking firsts of all, as 6 mentioned they had all that, second that’s not how u comment to a family or a fellow yid who just lost a house, and third hashem has his ways, the proof is even with all the detectors and so forth it happened so for u to go and imply it was because of a lack of responsibility of fire precautions is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and to console the family or show others how to console like that os wrong and not the way of yidden and bifrat bifrat not of lubavitcher chasidim like as it is said chasidim ain mishpacha
