This week’s issue, Parshas Vayislach, carries features about Dr. Seligson who was known as Reb Avrohom “HaRofe”, the winter season of the sought after Nightlife program, Shalom Center celebrating 8th years of service to seniors, YAM programs for the youth and a tribute to Sergeant “Bobby” Troise.

The paper, distributed free to residents, also features Torah portions, opinion pieces about chinuch, shidduchim, tzniyus, and health matters. “It is being sent by post to Anash, but there have been complaints by many that they haven’t received it at all,” the publishers said. “We hope to find a solution for proper distribution.”

Efforts are being made to include classifieds, dates of simchas and community events, and other pertinent information. Individuals are requested to send articles, feedback, and information to the editors at chp5768@gmail.com.

First, I would like to say it is TRULY an honor not only to be profiled, but to be the first profiled, in the new Crown Heights Community paper. Having met Batia Brandel is a VERY CLOSE second honor. It has been a PLEASURE being able to work with and serve each and every member of the Crown Heigts Community. I have made some WONDERFUL friends through the years, whom I treasure. I wish the paper and COMMUNITY well. G-D Bless us all.
