Heavy Winds Tear off Parts of Roof and Facade of 1414
Parts of the roof and facade of the 1414 President St. dormitory came crashing to the ground Monday night, after coming loose due to strong winds from the hurricane.
Several bochurim were ordered to evacuate from parts of the building believed to be dangerous.

It’s funny to me that every time something bad happens in Crown Heights to a Jew like a death or someone is suffering of some sort. There are always people saying how could it be this is terrible, why is this happening to us? However the answer is right in these Crownheight.info comments. Every time I look at comments of things I see Jews fighting with other Jews. I see Jews speaking terribly about other Jews and about people in general. So it’s a wonder to me why people ever question the punishments or the deaths of the young. Its so pathetic and sad to me that on even on a website for the information about the community you see the hatred and anger and fighting of Jews. The talk I see on these comments are absolutely ridiculous. Who cares if people live there that you think shouldn’t? who are you to say who lives there and who doesn’t? The people that judge and even make comments like that should really take a look at themselves because they are the ones holding the Jews back. Hatred onto others is the worst thing. And if anyone ever asks why the young keep dying and the good keeps suffering and the Jews have it so hard I will point out comments like these as the answer to that question.
