Video Shows Suspect Wanted for Anti-Semitic Graffiti

Surveillance video has been released that gives the public a look at the person accused of tagging a Hatzalah garage in Crown Heights with anti-Semitic graffiti.

Police say the man seen in the video is the one who spray-painted a swastika and hate words on Schenectady Avenue between Carroll and Crown St.

The graffiti has since been covered over.

The blacks should know that Hitler ym”s also executed black people. So why is he spraying a Swastika?!

Why not take them to court and make them pay financially? This cost lots of money to take of.

The point is not that he is “Black” (in quotes because I believe that race is an illusion, about as real as Santa Claus). The point is that at a time of rising anti-semitism both nationally and on a larger geo-political scale, this guy (doesn’t matter to me that he has noticeably brown skin) chose to deface a Hatzalah garage!!!!!!!

We take care of ourselves and they say we don’t care about anybody else. We take care of non-Jews and they say we are condescending!!!!!!!!!!! A Hatzalah garage!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a pathetic monster!!!!!!!!!

In all honesty I’ve heard much worse around Shabbos tables in CH about black ppl than what that jerk wrote on the wall. I feel like both communities need to have more education about each other and interaction with each other to have an understanding of each other as opposed to hear say and stereotypes!! Case in point not all Jews are rich, there are many families in the neighborhood who struggle to make ends meet (including the expense of tuition for every one of their children which most of the black community does not have). Along the same lines most Black ppl that live in our community are hard working pp l(and not criminals) and are also struggling to make ends meet just like us. They were once slaves and slaughtered by the millions and we were too slaves slaughtered by the millions. We were kicked out of countries due to anti semetism and they were denied equal rights and segregated due to racism. We struggled to rebuild after the holocaust and they are struggling to rebuild after regaining their freedom and rights. If more ppl knew these things and understood this on both sides we would be a much more hormonious and mutually respectful community!!

  • Hey Shimon

So you’ve heard talk around the Shabos table that you feel is “much worse” than this HATE CRIME?! Really? Perhaps you’re hanging around the wrong Shabos tables… Our community is YET AGAIN victimized and you give a lecture? While you make some legitimate points your perspective is way off-kilter.

Just because you don’t write it on the wall doesn’t make it alright, killer ;)

I so totally agree with #7.
#6, the Jews got shortchanged big time with that attitude. Pretty does not work.
the jews who went Democrat and liberal tried and are trying to get people to understand us and think it will all be good when we do. while some positive community relations can help, generally, we have to protect ourselves. Did Israel do well to give back land to make things “pretty” and nice? So why do you think that if we make things nice that it will “fix” it all.
dream on. We have to protect our own and thats how it always was.
