‘Dollar Cab’ Runs Red Light, Strikes Jewish Bicyclist
A Jewish man riding a bicycle was run over this morning by a “dollar cab” which ran a red light. The driver then fled the scene of the accident.
The incident occurred on the corner of Albany Ave. and Empire Blvd. early this morning.
A Shomrim member who was standing nearby noticed a commotion, and immediately called for backup.
Another Jewish man who was driving behind the cab witnessed the incident, and chased after the fleeing cab, catching up with him at the intersection of Empire Blvd. and Troy Ave.
The man then exited his vehicle, went over to the cab driver and warned him that he will go to jail for hit-and-run if he does not go back to the scene of the accident, because his license plate had been copied down and would be given to the police.
The driver relented and returned to the scene of the accident.
In the meantime, Shomrim administered first aid to the victim, who thankfully wasn’t seriously injured. Hatzolah and police then arrived, took the victim to the hospital and filed an accident report, respectively. The driver was not arrested.
Why was the driver let off?
The driver ran a red light thereby hitting and injuring a pedestrian. Why was he let go? Because he came back on the scene? Is that justification for no action at all against him?

And you suckers all thought that because these fat, lazy cops caught 1 mugger, they’ve had a change of attitude? When we you all face reality. WE HAVE TO PROTECT OURSELVES. That’s why we have Shomrim. Unarmed, they are better than the cops who do nothing to help us.
BTW imagine if a Jew would have hit a Black. We’d have blood running down the streets.

Why wasn’t he arrested? He fled the scene! It’s only after he got caught that he returned. (assuming this report is accurate)
