Obama’s Motorcade to Travel Up Kingston Ave.

The 71st Precinct has released an advisory in connection to President Barrack Obama’s visit to Crown Heights this Friday, October 25.

According to various sources, the presidential motorcade is expected to travel along Empire Blvd. from Flatbush Ave. to Kingston Ave., and up Kingston Ave. to Eastern Parkway.

There will be no parking along the above-mentioned route beginning Thursday night at 12:00 AM, until the motorcade has passed. Any car parked along the route will be towed by the NYPD at the behest of the Secret Service.

The surrounding area should expect to see heavy traffic delays between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 PM.

    The secret services and 71st. Knows good and well that going up Kingston ave. Is the safest and least vulnerable rout to get the president to the school. We are being used out and inconvenienced for security measures.

    It leaves the jurisdiction of the 71st so anything after is of no concern…sort of like when riots or things go on.

    re route though could be wrong 71pct does not control other side of eastern parkway .. so this may be why till there … the other side of eastern parkway is controlled by the 77pct

      It’s got nothing to do with religion or religious rights. 0bama simply doesn’t care about other people. Other people don’t exist, to him, except for his own convenience. This is easily visible over his entire life. And it’s very different from, say, W Bush, or Mitt Romney, who are documented as putting themselves out to help others, without expectation that anyone will ever find out about it. Or Australian PM Tony Abbot, who did a 14-hour shift over the weekend as a volunteer firefighter, and it was only by accident that the press found out.

    The route does not end at Eastern Parkway and Kingston. It’s just not under 71st police station. The motorcade will probably continue on Kingston past Eastern Parkway and further. Those that live beyond Eastern Parkway should find out from their local Police what Parking and Traffic rules are being implemented for that area that they should be aware of.

      Yeah, I see no parking signs going down all of Kingston Avenue, even past Eastern Parkway, so he’ll probably skip mincha and keep going.

      Why on earth should we welcome him? He may think he’s a king, but he’s not. He’s a despicable person, and in America we have no kings. The president of the United States is just another civil servant, no more important or worthy of respect than a postman or a tax inspector.

    pathetic really… to come the one day that is the busiest shopping day of the week and most important going into shabbos… if he runs late (WHICH IS ALWAYS) he will have shut down everyone’s main artery into 770 and around CH… and I find it hard to believe that no one mentioned this to him or he just didn’t care in a smug way.

    I see I got my answer. Kan Tzivo Hashem es habrocho, but zero seichel. The first election I didn’t vote for him, because I heard all the negative things people said about him, and in the smallest part of my heart I thought maybe this was true, and I didn’t want to have voted for a possible soneh Yisroel. But after seeing what an AMAZING job he did in his first term, and realizing that my fears were unfounded, I was very happy and proud to vote for the HAWAIIAN born B.H.O. As far as the President’s Affordable Care Act, I work two jobs, neither of which offers me benefits. I now signed up for affordable health insurance, which I hope I never have to use, and I have total respect and admiration for the President and the job he’s doing and give him the highest approval rating.

    Assuming this guy is going up Kingston Ave. at 3:00 PM, wouldn’t that mean they will lock the neighborhood down around noon?

    We need accurate information in order to ensure we’re not stuck or blocked from getting home erev Shabbos.

    I have no interest in greeting or meeting this man. I didn’t vote for him, I am sorry he got elected, and I believe he is destroying much of what we Americans believe in.

    The President drives up to the Koisel HaMizrach of “Beis Mikdosheinu shebiBovel”, traveling eastward (Yerusholayim). The President of the same United States which established an annual national “Education & Sharing Day” in The Rebbe’s Honor.
