Oihel Nosson Welcomes Two New Sifrei Torah!
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Oihel Nosson welcomed two new Sifrei Torah today in a joyous Siyum and Hachnosa of two new Torahs. One of the Torahs was dedicated in memory of the Shuls namesake, R. Nosson ben Nachman Yehuda Leib Nagel, and the second in memory of his wife Raizel bas Ita Zundel.
Oihel Nosson, which opened two years ago, was dedicated by the Nagel family and the new Torahs are the Shul’s first.
In addition to the Baalai Simcha, including the Shul’s enthusiastic membership and members of the Nagel family, some of whom traveled from as far as Colombia and Italy to attend, the Simcha was joined in by hundreds of Anash as the procession danced through the streets of Crown Heights.
