First it was the Vaad Hakohol members who opened the finals, and tonight it will be the sponsors who will throw the first pitch in game 1 of the championships, where the Landmark Funding Red Heifers will square off against the Advantage Wholesale Supply Skullcaps.
The game will begin at 8:00pm in the St. Johns Recreation on Troy Avenue and Bergen Street, where the best of 3 series will determine the world champions of the Crown Heights Softball League.
The first pitches will be thrown at 7:55pm by the CEO of the Landmark Funding Group Mendy Gansburg and the CEO of AWS Dovid Smetana.
Dovid Teich, winner of the first ever “Silver Slugger Award” for best all around hitter this season; will throw out the first pitch For Game 2 on August 26th. Dovid had a .571 batting Ave and a league record 48 hits on the season.
