It was so nice that shomrim were out walking the streets escorting women to their destinations on Friday night. I am not even an out of towner, but I really appreciate the effort.

Yasher Koach to all the guys that gave up their warm shabbos at home to do this! It’s this kind of gmilas chesed that makes it feel like we are actually a community! I hope others will take this example and put in more time for Tzorchei Tzibur.

cops and shomrim are doing a chesed.
@ 11:00 on a FRIDAY nite, doesnt require a shomrim mmeber or even a cop to follow u home and protect you. You are independent and can always call 911.

Yes, sure – everyone should carry a cellphone to call 911 on FRIDAY night! Cops do no chessed – they protect citizens in exchange for a good salary with benefits.

Thank you shomrim! Keep up the great job of protecting the community! Even though there are those who are trying to hinder your progress do not pay them any heed and keep up the wonderfull acts of goodness and kindness that you guys do so often!.

thanks yossi and again we need shomrim and police on the outlying streets on the outlying times and we should bring drinks and chips to cops as appreciatation all the best thanks

  • thanks

As a visitor for the kinnus, i was pleasantly surprised to see so many shomrim members and police patrolling during the daytime and night time hours. Girls and women will inevitably have to walk the streets alone during this weekend(despite knowing the dangers involved and being warned repeatedly) and BH we have felt much safer. Thank you, thank you. May Hashem repay you.
