Man Attempting to Pass Fake Currency Arrested

A man who attempted to pass fake currency in a Crown Heights grocery store after midnight was apprehended by store employees and was arrested.

The incident occurred at around 2:00am in the Kahan’s Grocery store on Kingston Avenue. The suspect, a black man in his 30’s, attempted to pay for store items using counterfeit bills. 4 of the stores Hispanic employees grabbed the man and tackled him to the ground.

A very large crowd formed outside the store and Shomrim received multiple calls about ‘a fight’ from concerned bystanders.

Shomrim arrived moments before police and calmed the scene down while police took the suspect into custody. He was later arrested and charged with possession of the fake currency.

I guess he figured the Jews were too busy with their holiday to take notice
good to know their workers were so devoted.

  • What an idiot

He should’ve claimed he got them from someone else and didn’t bother checking…
