Jewish Man Mugged Late Sunday Night
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Three masked muggers robbed a Jewish man late Sunday night, and made off with his cellphone.
The incident occurred while the man was walking on Crown Street between Albany and Troy Avenues on his way home from a Simcha.
Three black men, described to be in their late teens or early 20’s and all dressed in black, approached their victim and demanded his wallet. The victim told them that he did not have one and they told him to put his hands in the air and not to make any sudden movement or scream.
One of the three proceeded to search his pockets and all they came up with was an iPhone, which they took and fled towards Schenectady Avenue.
The victim then ran back to Albany Avenue and called out for help, police and Shomrim were then called.
After obtaining a description of the muggers from the victim, which police shared with Shomrim, they took him and tried searching for the muggers. After not spotting them they went to the police station to file a police report.

The muggers used the girls card a number of times the night of the mugging, some from a drive through restaurant and another at a gas station.
AND….
To pay off tickets from the DMV.
Did the detectives get video from gas station? how about the restaurant? and most important…
Did they get the info on which plates the muggers paid the tickets off?
