Viera Rodriguez, a 65-year-old man, was arrested for stabbing another man in Crown Heights Sunday morning after a heated argument broke out between them.
The incident occurred near the corner of Rochester Ave. and St. Johns Place. at around 8:30am.
Police say the suspect got into an argument with the victim, then ran into an apartment, grabbed a knife and slashed him on the face and wrist.
A witness told NY1 she first they saw the suspect wielding a knife and then noticed the victim bleeding. “He was bad. He was bad off,” said one person at the scene. “He was really cut. He was really, really, really hurt, really bad. All we could have done is just call the cops for him.”
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is now in stable condition.
