Police Seeking Two Teens in Crown Heights Mugging

Police in Crown Heights are asking for the public’s help locating two suspects wanted in connection with a mugging that took place on Saturday.

Around 7:15 p.m. Sept. 21, two suspects snuck up on their 21-year-old victim near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Kingston Avenue and brandished a gun, telling him to give up his cash and phone. After taking their ill-gotten gains, the two teens involved ran away.

No injuries were reported, though the victim lost his possessions to the two teens.

One suspect, who was holding the gun, is described as a 16-20-year old wearing a blue and white Adidas sweatsuit jacket and a black baseball hat.

The other suspect is between 16-18-years-old and was wearing a black t-shirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips at the Crime Stoppers website, or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

  • It was still yomtov when this occurred

How is this possible? New York City is supposedly a gun-free zone! Of course, the term gun-free zone means nothing, since criminals do not respect the gun laws. Hope these 2 suspects end up in a place like Pennsylvania, where the gun laws are less strict and they get there heads blown off trying to pull the same stunt.
