Two Dead, Five Wounded in City Shootings
It was a hot time in the city last night, as bullets flew all over town, leaving two dead and five seriously wounded, cops said.
As temperatures hit the 90s, a 24-year-old man was shot in the chest at about 4:20 p.m. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and later died.
A 25-year-old man was then killed on Saint John’s Place near Troy Avenue in Crown Heights, taking a bullet to the torso at around 11:30 p.m. cops said.
Two other men were also shot in Brooklyn, but their wounds were not deemed life-threatening.
A Bronx man was shot in the head and rushed to Lincoln Hospital in serious condition last night.
And a man was shot in Manhattan and another in Queens before the bloody day was done. Both were expected to survive, cops said.
Citizen Berel
This is outrageous.
Kindly inform our neighbors that is against the law to possess a firearm without a license.
Clearly we need to make it harder to get a license.
Your papers please!
The Dinkins Days
Sounds like back in the Dinkins days.

thanks to gun control …. NOT
To #1
Criminals will always be able to acquire guns.
That’s a fact.
Law abiding citizens should be able to legally own a hand gun. It’s our right.
I can promise you #1, that the person that had the hand gun, and shot those people, did not have a CCl Legal caring License.
Berel, what are you thinking!!!???
declasse' intelelctual
What do you expect. In Bloomberg’s city which have the toughest anti-gun laws, only the criminals have guns and permission to use them. Remember, the Mayor stated threat the Boston Marathon bomber who killed in a shootout was a poor victim of illegal gun violence.
Forecast, from the Mayor’s office, expect more shooting and killings.
