Police Bust Weed Growing Operation on CH Rooftop

After receiving complaints about a suspected marijuana growing operation on a Crown Heights building rooftop, police officers from the 71st Precinct investigated and were surprised to find 10 large plants.

According to police sources the plants were found on the rooftop of a Crown Heights building, which is home to a majority of Jewish residents.

Police went up to the roof by request of the landlord who suspected that there was illicit plants growing on the roof. The plants were confiscated and no arrests have been made.

It is illegal for anyone to be on a building rooftop without the express permission of the landlord. According to the police a person can be charged with trespassing, and have been aggressively enforcing this law in order to cut down on quality of life complaints.

Go Dovid, I told you not on the roof- That was the wicked “Yechi” Stash

  • What a Grow-Op

Someone took extra special care to water these mary-jane plants… looks like it would have been for personal use… too small of an amount to traffic on the streets. Maybe it put a scare into the owner… let them get a normal job like pumpin’ gas.

Shame on you! What a terrible accusation you are making. Your sense of “humor” is non- existent. You are holding back the Rebbe from coming with your sinah.

fact: it has helped people with terminal disease
it is not a dangerous drug
    it IS misused, BUT :
isn’t alcohol (and food) being a misused issue???
the police and our own, should better address :
    gang activity,
    physical safety
and more. please, put it in perspective.
