The woman immediately fled into the house of her friend and called Shomrim. i know this guys he lives in 1622 president street( apopak buliding) he is a drunk crazy guy.i wish they shoud arrest him forever

  • someone

this guy is so dumb he was like waiting for someone to come and arrest him but it was good for us because it was very easy to catch him

  • Shame

So this drunk guy sat down next to someone on a stoop and he gets busted for harrasment and trespass?
    That’s sad really
Sure he needs help, but sometimes people in CH act like anyone they don’t know is out to get them if they say hello.
I think the whole thing sounds like an over reaction by everyone involved
They Shomrim/Cops could just as easily just put the guy on his way.
I’ve seen people in CH run away if a stranger asks for the time of day, even other yidden.
    Sad Story

  • safety first

    guess what “shame”
    better be safe than sorry!
If someone thinks your’e rude, that’s their problem. There is no reason to compromise your safety to avoid huring overly sensitive people.

  • Dear Shame :

    B“H

    Dear ”Shame“:

OK. So let me get this straight. On your own private front doorstep (OR on your friend’s own front doorstep, to which you are INVITED), an UNINVITED STRANGER has the same ”rights“ as the owner (or renter) or their invited guests????

We’re not talking about the sidewalk or the park, which are both public. We’re talking about someone’s private property!

READ THE ARTICLE!!! The Shomrim and the police BOTH first tried, very courteously, to ”put the guy on his way”.

You may have a SEPARATE, UNRELATED point (about some CH people treating even each other like they shouldn’t even say hello), but you’re comparing apples to oranges here!
