CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A boy walking to his home on Lincoln Place, from school this afternoon, Monday at around 2:15pm was attacked by a group of four Black males on Eastern Parkway close to the Troy Avenue inetsection. The group appeared to the victim to be around his own age around 12 to 15 years old.

One of the group shoved the boy to the ground and told him to empty his pockets and hand it to him, which he did, producing just some scraps of paper and nothing of value. The group then fled, apparently because someone saw them and scared them off.

Our kids are not safe. Yesterday in williamsburg in a girls school, there were three gun shots at the windows of teh school. inboth neighberhoods the police do nothing.Without shomrim the place is gone.

  • There goes another one...

Now why doesn’t this boy get a news press event in the Children’s museum like another victim who was treated in the same way??? Oh, I guess he doesn’t have a prominent enough name in the community.
Every victim should be treated equally. Those thugs are just gonna keep at it until we stop them!

  • Hoodlums in Training

I would encourage Shomrim to hang out for a few days in the area-at the time when the local non-Jewish schools get out. Some of the kids act like hoodlums:throwing balls on cars, taking people’s garbage that is put out for pickup and throwing it all about, screaming, shoving… Yesterday, I saw them take a massive pointy branch and purposely place it in middle of Eastern Parkway. They come down Troy (from Lincoln) and Eastern Parkway (from Albany)

lincoln place should have extra protection its very dark over there and quiet and there are people hanging out there

  • oooooo

the most likely reason the other boy got publicity and this one didnt was because the other one was hurt badly and they didnt demand anything. they just did it for the sake of hurting someone.

  • Sick & Tired...

    Give your kids some Mace…
Then those thugs will think twice…
Although I like the fact that this kid handed them scraps of paper…WAY TO GO!!

to the person who wrote about mace:

i agree with you 100 percent if everybody walks around with mace (and isnt scared to use it when they have to) maybe they’ll learn to lay off.
