Approximately 40 people joined Rabbi Don Yoel Levy, Rav of the new shul. Davening was enhanced by top-notch chazanim Rabbi Yitzchak Hanoka and Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld, as well as an expert Baal Korei. Rabbi Shimon Aharon Rosenfeld gave a Chassidus shiur on Friday night, and a beautiful Shabbos Mevorchim kiddush was held after davening on Shabbos morning. Visitors to the new shul included Rabbi Binyomin Klein, Rabbi Yosef Heller, Rabbi Yosef Weinberg, Rabbi Yudel Krinsky and Rabbi Shmuel Heber. Rabbi Levy gave a Gemoro shiur, which will continue on a weekly basis.

Bais Eliezer Yitzchok is a masterpiece of design and architecture, personally designed by Rabbi Chaim Fogelman, Rabbi Levy’s son-in-law. Rabbi Fogelman invested many hours of work and effort in monitoring the construction. The shul’s beauty and functionality are a testament to his devotion to the project.

Mishkan Menachem saw 40 mispalelim and consists of a group of Baalie Batim that now finally has a Shul to call home.

I must say that from CrownHeights.info I learnt that not always running to be the first to publish things is the way to go, take this article for example; COL called Laizer Levy A”H Rabbi Don Yoels father when he was in fact his brother, and all Shmais did was give his brother in law an advertisement with some cell phone camera pictures, which don’t show the beauty of the Shul at all (to say the very least).

Now CrownHeights.info in contrast brought us beautiful pictures along with accurate information, along with the news of a second Shul too! One thing articles are meant to do is also bring good and useful information to us, the readers, for example now we all know there is a new Shul, what about those that want to Daven there? or is there a daily Minyan there? What are the times for the Davenings?

CHinfo I want to thank you for always bringing us the best pictures along with the most accurate reports that can actually benefit us!

Mishkan Menachem is not a new shul. It was organized in 1994 and met in a building at the corner of Crown and Kingston. The shul membeship voted to move to the basement of the Jewish Childrens Museum.

Wishful thinking – Rabbi Heller showed up. Moshiach is not here yet.

Kol Hakavod to Rabbi Levy and to Rabbi Fogelman! The shul looks magnificent.

The well established ongoing Mishkan Menachem moved to the basement of the Children’s Museum. It meets on Shabbos and Yom Tov. Enter on the Kingston Avenue side of the museum, just south of the Mendy’s restaurant. See you there!
