Rav Zirkind and Rav Segal Assume Responsibility as Executive Supervisors

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — On the first anniversary of the elections for the Crown Heights Beis Din, the Vaad Hakohol of Crown Heights is proud to announce new leadership for the Vaad Hakashrus of the Crown Heights BaDaTz. Effective immediately Rav Yitzchok Zirkind, shlit”a and Rav Shlomo Segal, shlit”a, Rabbonim of the Beis Din, will be serving as co – Executive Supervisors of Kashrus under the esteemed leadership of Rav Osdoba, shlit”a.

According to Vaad Hakohol Chairman Moshe Rubaskin; “By placing all kashrus related issues – especially all Fiscal matters – under the executive supervision of Rav Zirkind, the Vaad Hakohol is taking the necessary steps to eliminate any and all Kashrus concerns in our Kehilla. We hope this will now foster an increased community-wide trust and acceptance of all products and establishments that receive their hechsherim from the Crown Heights BaDaTz.”

It has been the dual goal of the Vaad Hakohol to stimulate community-wide Sholom and Cooperation, in addition to improving the physical quality of life in Crown Heights especially for those among us who are less fortunate. “It is our privilege to serve the community, and we endeavor daily to fulfill our responsibilities to all of ANASH,” said Rubashkin.

Rav Zirkind, on behalf of the Vaad HaKashrus, welcomes any and all questions with regard to kashrus issues.

A good start in reforming the CHK would be better responsiveness to the community. I had a recent shailoh on a CHK approved product. An email detailing my concerns went unanswered. The same email sent to the other well-known kashrus agency on the product was answered quite precipitously and thoroughly.

Please don’t let requests and issues languish; it gives the impression that the CHK doesn’t care about the well-being of those who rely on their ashirah.

Thank you so much Rabbi Zirkind and Rabbi Segal.

After having lost faith in the CHK as a result of the Matza Scandal, now my trust is complete restored in the CHK.

Because of the New Leadership of the CHK now, I will make sure to purchase ONLY chk products.

    1) SEGAL AND ZIRKIND ARE NOT LEGITIMATE MEMBERS. 2) THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT KASHRUS 3)UNTIL RABBI SHWEI IS THERE, CHK WILL ALWAYS BE ILLEGITIMATE. 4) KASHRUS MUST BE OWNED BY THE KEHILA AND NOT BE A PRIVATE ENTITY, AND ITS STILL A PRIVATE BUSINESS BEWTWEEN RABBI OZDOBA AND SONS WITH BROOK. 5) THE WHOLE IDEA OF KASHRUS FROM THE START WAS TO SEPARATE THE BEIS DIN FROM FINANCE AND THAT THE RABONIM SHOULD HAVE NO CONNECTION TO FINANCE. BY PLACING ZIRKIND IN CHARGE OF FINANCE IS UNDERMINING THE WHOLE BASIS FOR KASHRUS FROM ITS INCEPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are all a bunch of slimy thieves. I eat Lubavitch meat cuz the last time I checked, the Rubashkin family was Lubavitch! Shor Habor, Aaron’s Best, its all good. Dont get sucked into this bunch of baloney, this whole kashrus thing is a scam to take your money right out of your pockets by telling you that there is something different or better about the CHK meat. PLEASE! The only difference is that the meat is green and it costs your more money, thats all. You can go to Shoprite or Walmart and by Rubashkin meats anywhere in the U.S. and its perfectly kosher. Am I supposed to care that they are playing musical chairs? IM NOT THAT STUPID.

    Too little too late….

Yes, Pesach Sheini is around the corner, but after the damage done in the past year, only a complete and transparent “changing of the gaurds” will do for us in the community.

Otherwise, you’ll spend the rest of your time in office fighting, etc.

We need a major operation and you’re putting a bandaid on…..

    What a shame.

The reason that rabbi Schwei was not included is simply he does not want to be a “team player” with the other members of the BDATZ.
Rabbi Zirkind for sure has a very deep knowledge of kashrus. Rabbi Segal has been involved for a number of years in kashrus.
I think rabbi Schwei should continue being there for those who need a warm word or pat on the back I must admit he is very good in making people feel good.

Moshe Rubashkin is a Noigea Bedovor. his family is the biggest beneficaries of the curropt hechsher. you can google an article from Rabbi Schein of Lakewood regarding the Rubashkin empire. at the same time the Rubashkins are the biggest supporters of the hechsher and vaad hakashrus with hard cash money. people say that in america what counts is the packaging. Moshe Rubashkin is trying to repackage the chk hechsher so it should sell better. it is an embarrasment that in a time that the world of lubavitch is shaking with horror and sorrow, these lowlives have nothing else what to do but to continue their shameless activities of curroption. THE LIKES OF THE NASH’S, SPERLIN’S, HERZOG’S, POLTRAK’S AND CO-CONSPIRITORS HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMMUNICATED TO AT LEAST SOME OF OUR HOLY BROTHERHOOD AND SISTERHOOD THAT GOOD IS BAD, AND HOLY IS UNHOLY.

SO VERY SADLY, EVER SINCE THESE PEOPLE HAVE BECOME INVOLVED IN SAVING THE WORLD MACHLOKIS HAS REIGNED SUPREME, AND NOW TRAGEDIES ABOUND EVERYWHERE.

THIS MACHLOKIS MUST BE STOPPED NOW!

THIS IS A PLEA FROM THE HEART AND MIND OF ONE CHOSID WHO AGREES WITH HUNDREDS OF LIKE MINDED BUT QUIET OBSERVERS WHO HAVE BEEN WATCHING IN DISBELIEF, NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, AS OUR COMMUNITY IS TAKEN BY MANIPULATION OF TRUTH, SPIN CONTROL, AND AGAIN TRAGEDIES.

I PRAY THAT WE WILL ALL WAKE UP, SHAKE OFF THE DUST OF HELPLESSSNESS, AND CYNICISM, AND TAKE BACK THE HOLY COMMUNITY THAT THE REBBE HAS BUILT FOR US AND FOR THE WORLD.

PERHAPS A LETTER CAMPAIGN TO THE CAMP OF SPOILERS LISTED (IN PART) ABOVE, WOULD BE A GOOD BEGINNING. THE LETTER COULD STATE UNEQUIVOCALLY THAT WE REJECT AND REPUDIATE EFFORTS OF THIS GROUP TO INFLICT ITS WRECKLESS AND INJURIOUS DIVISIVENESS, AND MACHLOKIS ON OUR COMMUNITY. PIROD BRINGS ONLY TRAGEDY, AND WE HAVE ALREADY HAD ENOUGH OF THAT. PLEASE DESIST IN YOUR ACTIVITIES IMMEDIATELY.

I THINK A CC: SHOULD BE SENT TO RABBI OSDOBA AND RABBI SCHWEII. THEY SHOULD BE APPRISED OF THE COMMUNITY’S RESPONSE.

    2. Few do, many talk. It is so easy to take potshots and call anything that smells of change a conspiracy or polluted effort. Rubashkin is doing. Let all the talkers tell the mirror what they have done, or even tried to do, to better someone’s lot other han their own.

Then again, this a blog, so what’s the diference. Do-ers don’t care about these places (I hope).

But how long can we continue this horrible machlokos? What good will come from it.?
At this point no one cares about the Beis Din or the CHK.
What are we doing about about the chinuch of our children? parents are paying through their noses some parents pay more in tuition then they almost earn. Are our children getting a proper education in Oholei Torah Beis Rivkah or the other yeshivas around the world? Parents are paying are forced to their knees to pay tuition and when they finsih that they are once again forced to pay camp fees. Where will it stop?
Firstly this is causing young couples to reconsider having more children, This puts huge pressure on parents and then who knows how it effects the children and sholom bayis.
Who is going to take responsiblity for all of this???

Abuse of power and tyrany are what caused us to be where we are today.

Knowing well the recent intents to get to resolve things I can tell you that Mr Poltorak is 100% right.

Unfortunatelly your camp is not interested in resolving the machloikes the Torah way they refuse to go to Din Tora or Zablo and let Torah decide.

Perhaps you should write a letter and get 1000 signatures just to ask the 2 rabbonim to go to a Din Tora and make a stop to all this!!!
