Community Leaders Meet with Brooklyn D.A.

A select group of Jewish community leaders and activists, including Rabbi Shea Hecht and Rabbi Yaakov Behrman of Crown Heights, met last week with Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson and Councilman Chaim Deutsch to discuss issues and concerns facing the community on a daily basis.

The behind-closed-doors meeting took place last week, Thursday, in the conference room of The Bridge Project, a multi-cultural advocacy center directed by Mark Appel.

Are there anti-arresting molesters meetings that I should know about?

      Presumably not a vocal lobby.

  • Thank you

So nice to see real community leaders who do so much for the community.

Ruchama Clapman is an example of someone who gives herself over to the community day and night, many families have benefited from her crusading chessed and selflessness.

Glad to see so many leaders together helping out the community.
