Get Ready to Experience the Month of Kislev Like Never Before
New free videos bring every special day of Kislev to life for children.
Parents and educators are excited to teach about Kislev like never before, thanks to a new collection of free videos on ChabadKidsVideos.com that brings all the special days of the month to life for children.
A new Kislev page gathers every special day of the month in order. Each day has its own illustrated story, a short video on what our Rebbe says about the day, and, for older children, the day in depth.
Rosh Chodesh Kislev: the story of the night our Rebbe came home in 5738, after the heart attack on Shemini Atzeres, and Chassidim everywhere celebrated with joy.

Beis Kislev: the day in 5748 that the seforim of the library of Agudas Chassidei Chabad came home to 770, and what our Rebbe taught about it: the victory of the seforim is to learn them.

Tes and Yud Kislev: the birthday, the yahrzeit and the day of freedom of the Mitteler Rebbe, with a two-part in-depth study.

Yud-Daled Kislev: the wedding of our Rebbe and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka in Warsaw in 5689, and why it is the day that connected our Rebbe with us.

Yud-Tes and Chof Kislev: Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus. A new series tells the story of the Alter Rebbe’s arrest and liberation, beginning with Episode 1, “The Black Carriage,” together with what our Rebbe says about Yud-Tes Kislev and a two-part in-depth study. More episodes are on the way.

Still to come this month: videos for Chanukah, and the life stories of the Rabbeim connected to these days: the Mitteler Rebbe, the Maggid of Mezritch and the Alter Rebbe, along with the Story of the Tanya.
A teacher can show the day’s story in class on the day itself, and parents can watch together with their children at home as each day arrives, so that children know what the day is and why Yidden celebrate it.
The Kislev collection joins hundreds of videos already on the site, including the daily “Today in Chabad” episode with the day’s Hayom Yom, Sefer HaMitzvos, Moshiach lesson and a story our Rebbe told.
ChabadKidsVideos.com is completely free, with no advertising. Every video has a feedback box underneath that goes directly to the team.
