Merkos Torah to Host Isru Chag Sukkos Kinnus Torah

In fulfillment of the Rebbe’s hora’ah to utilize Isru Chag as an opportunity to gather for a Kinnus Torah, Merkos Torah will host a special Isru Chag Sukkos Kinnus Torah on Monday, October 5, at 12:00 PM EST.

The Kinnus Torah is dedicated לעילוי נשמת הרב ישראל אליעזר הלוי רובין ז”ל, father of Rabbi Mordechai Rubin. In connection with the Kinnus, Rabbi Mordechai Rubin prepared a pre-recorded pilpul to be shared as part of the program.

The virtual gathering will feature a diverse selection of fascinating Torah presentations spanning Nigleh, Chassidus and halacha, delivered by Rabbonim and Maggidei Shiur associated with Merkos Torah’s various kollelim and learning initiatives.

The program will include Dayan Levi Raskin, Maggid Shiur at Bais Medrash Iyun Tefila and Rov of Anash in London, who will present on Mekoro Shel HaMei Shiloach; Rabbi Dov Popack, Rosh Kollel of the new Kollel Iyun HaTalmud and Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva L’Talmidim Hashluchim, who will introduce the newly launched Kollel Iyun HaTalmud; Rabbi Abba Naparstek, Menahel of Yeshiva of Scottsdale and a member of Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad, who will present a biur in Likkutei Amarim Tanya, Perek 18, on the concept of yirah hakelulah b’ahavah; and Rabbi Avraham Raskin, Director of Merkaz LeToras HaChassidus, who will discuss how to connect Tishrei to the entire year.

The program will also feature the pre-recorded divrei Torah prepared by Rabbi Mordechai Rubin, Shliach in Colonie, New York, and a member of Kollel Aliba D’Hilchasa and Kollel L’Lomdei Dach, including a discussion of the halachah and Chabad custom regarding sitting and making a brachah in the sukkah when rain begins to fall.

The Kinnus reflects Merkos Torah’s broader mission of creating accessible opportunities for keviyus itim baTorah, bringing serious and engaging Torah learning to Yidden around the world through its growing network of kollelim, shiurim and learning programs.

The Isru Chag Sukkos Kinnus Torah will take place Monday, October 5 at 12:00 PM EST.
