Jewish Runners Make a Pit Stop at Chabad Sukkah

More than 100 members of the Nice Jewish Runners club made a nice Jewish stop this week as they made their way through Manhattan, New York.

At the beautiful sukkah built by Chabad West Village in Lower Manhattan, the runners enjoyed a delicious kosher dinner and waved the Lulav and Etrog. The intricate ironwork-and-glass sukkah walls are topped with s’chach and adorned with flowers.

Visitors and locals alike have stopped for a mitzvah and a bite to eat at the landmark sukkah located in the Hudson River Park, just north of Pier 46.

“Sukkot is all about coming together, welcoming people in, and celebrating as a community,” the group wrote in a post on social media. “There’s something pretty special about doing that with over 100 NJR runners in a sukkah.”
